Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the dosing information on the bottle different from the dosing information in the booklet?

The dosing on our labels represents the requirements for approval from Health Canada for homeopathic remedies. Health Canada requirements for labeling are for general dosing as opposed to first aid applications.

We suggest a lower dosage in acute situations because clinically, one drop is just as effective as fifteen; and this way, your remedy will last longer!

How do I take the remedies?

Taking a Dose

1 dose = 1-2 drops directly under your tongue OR in 1-2 Tablespoons of water and swallowed.
When dosing a child under 1, put the drop into one teaspoon of water and spoonfeed or use a syringe.

Dosing Frequency

With homeopathy, the aim is to match the frequency of dosing with the intensity of the condition.

For intense/first aid conditions, take one dose every 15 minutes until relief or 6 total doses.

For more moderate conditions, take one dose every 3-4 hours.

As the condition starts to improve, you can slow down and then stop dosing.

Aim to take the remedies away from food and drink (other than water), but understandably this cannot always be the case. If acute dosing every 15 minutes, try not to consume anything in between the doses. In severe cases or where symptoms persist, consult a health professional.

NOTE: This information does not match the dosing information on our labels. Health Canada requirements for labeling are for general dosing as opposed to first aid applications.

How should I store the remedies?

Please store all homeopathic remedies away from heat and sunlight, in a cool dry place, and away from electronic devices and strong smells like essential oils. Do not contaminate the bottle or the cap. Keep the lids on tight. Leave the remedy in its original container.

What are the remedies made of?

Homeopathic medicines are prepared from very small doses of natural substances to stimulate the body’s self-healing abilities. Our liquid preparations are diluted with a small amount of purified water and alcohol.

Can I take various remedies simultaneously?

It is best to take only one remedy at a time – we advise that you do not mix or combine remedies.

Is homeopathy safe for babies and during pregnancy?

Homeopathy is safe, gentle & suitable for all ages and stages of life. This includes use in infants from birth, during pregnancy, labour, post-partum recovery and breastfeeding.

Will the remedies interfere with other pharmaceutical drugs or supplements?

Homeopathy is safe alongside pharmaceutical medications and herbal supplements. We advise you to consult your Healthcare Practitioner for further information.

Why are your remedies in liquid form and not pellets?

Given the abundance of microplastics in the world, it was important for us to store our remedies in glass. Since it is difficult to dispense pellets in glass bottles, we opted for a liquid homeopathic preparation.

Can I eat or drink after taking the remedies?

Take the drops away from food & drink – we advise 15 minutes before or after.

Why is there alcohol in the remedies?

Our remedies contain a small amount of alcohol which is used as a preservative and present no risk of adverse effects to babies or young children. The amount of alcohol in a dose is exceedingly small: It is less than the alcohol amount that occurs naturally in some foods.

Do the remedies expire?

Each remedy will have a lot number and expiration date printed on the label.

Can I expect any adverse reactions?

Homeopathic remedies have a low risk of side effects and no contraindications.

What should I do if my condition is not improving with the remedies?

Contact your doctor or natural health care provider.

How quickly can I expect homeopathic remedies to work?

Acute conditions often respond within minutes to the correctly chosen remedy.

What should I do if a new symptom occurs when taking the remedy?

Stop the remedy. Consult with your doctor or health care provider.

What does 30CH mean?

30 CH is a unit of measurement. 30CH is the potency used in acute health situations.

What do I do if I have more specific questions about how to manage my health condition?

It is always best to consult with your own healthcare practitioner with any specific questions about your health concern.

Can you overdose on Homeopathic remedies?

Given the small amounts of highly diluted active ingredients, you cannot overdose from ingesting a homeopathic remedy.

What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy uses highly diluted natural substances to relieve common symptoms.

It is based on a “like cures like” principle that has been used for over 200 years: the idea that a substance capable of causing particular symptoms in a healthy person will cure similar symptoms in a person with disease. Homeopathic remedies stimulate the body’s capacity to heal itself.

Homeopathic remedies do not mask symptoms, are not contraindicated with pre-existing conditions, and do not interact with other medications or supplements, making them one of the safest choices for self-treatment.

Is Homeopathy new?

Homeopathy has been used successfully worldwide for over 200 years and is recognized as the second most therapeutic form of medicine in the world today.
